Pastor John E. Gentry, Jr.

Pastor John E. Gentry, Jr. is a native of Indio, California. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Mount Calvary Holy Church, Palm Desert, California.

Pastor Gentry is a graduate of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where he has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Studies, 2012. He has been in the ministry for over fourteen years. His unique presentation of the Gospel has enabled him to minister to many denominations and organizations and as a result he is a much sought-after preacher, teacher, mentor and counselor.

Pastor Gentry is married to the very lovely, Lady Denise Nicole Gentry and they share in their union three beautiful children Eryn, Devin, and Mikaela.

Lady Denise Gentry is the Leading Lady of Mount Calvary Holy Church of Palm Desert, California. She is a native of San Bernardino, California, where she grew up in her grandfather’s (Bishop Elijah Solomon Singletary) ministry, formally, New Life Christian Church. The ministry has since transitioned to Dunamis Power Christian Fellowship pastored by her parents, Overseer’s Warren and Vitina White.

Lady Denise has been in the ministry for over fifteen years, during which time her gift of singing and music ministry has made room for her. She can be heard weekly leading praise and worship and assisting in the music ministry as well as serving in her local church. Along with her many other gifts, Lady Denise’s love for people, down to earth personality and humanity has excelled her to minister and encourage people of all ages, as well as different walks of life.

Lady Denise is the wife of John E. Gentry, Jr., the Lead Pastor of Mount Calvary Holy Church of Palm Desert, California. Together, she and her husband are leading this progressive, multi-cultural, and transitional ministry.
Finally, Lady Denise is the proud mother of three beautiful children: Eryn Angela, Devin Elijah, and Mikaela Elizabeth.
